Dr. Joe Guettler is the team physician for the Michigan Bucks semi-professional soccer team. He provides onsite game coverage at all their home games, which are played either at Oakland University’s main soccer field in Rochester or at Hurley Field at Anderson Middle School in Berkley.

Dr. James Bicos is the USA Gymnastics National Team Orthopedic Surgeon (i.e. our Olympic Team!!). He has been the lead physician at two World Championships and at the 2011 Pan American Games. Dr. Bicos sees referrals from all around the country. Locally he takes care of gymnasts from GTC Gymnastics, Olympic Gymnastics, and Oakland Gymnastics Clubs.

When the NCAA came to the Palace of Auburn Hills for March Madness in 2006, Dr. Guettler was there on the seen as an overseeing physician liaison for all the visiting teams. He was onsite to assist any of the teams with medical concerns or emergency cases. Performance Orthopedics in association with Oakland University’s Athletic Department was proud to provide medical coverage and treatments for the tournaments
